Enhance Your Look: The Ultimate Guide to Eyelash Lift and Tint
A lash lift is similar to a perm for your eyelashes. Unlike lash extensions, which add artificial lashes, a lash lift enhances the natural lashes by altering their shape and color. Typically, natural lashes grow straight out, but a lash lift curls them upwards, maximizing their length and giving a more appealing aesthetic.
During a lash lift, each lash is delicately curled upwards and set in place using specially formulated chemicals similar to those used in traditional hair perms. This process involves lifting and boosting each individual lash, followed by tinting to create the appearance of thicker, darker, and longer lashes.
Aftercare: The aftercare for a lash lift and tint is minimal, making it a convenient option for those with busy schedules. You’ll typically be advised to avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours after the treatment to ensure the lift sets properly.
• Do not use oil based or strong make-up removers for the first 48 hours after lift and tint. They may strip the color and damage the direction of the lash lift.
• Do not sleep on your face or on your side where your lashes rubbing against the pillow.
• Keep them dry for 24 hours.
• Do not expose your lashes to hot, steamy shower, sauna, shampoo, eye creams or serums etc for 24 Hours.
